Welcome at La Foussimagne

We offer an authentic French holiday home with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a private pool. Wonderfully quiet with lots of privacy. In the middle of the French Lot countryside.

From 1764, this old sheep farm was slowly built. In traditional French style. It is now a nice house in lovely surroundings with all the modern facilities you need to enjoy a wonderful holiday.

No, pets are unfortunately not welcome at La Foussimagne. However, a nosy neighbour's cat or dog may sometimes visit, but they are not allowed inside.

In the area, you can hike, cycle, fish and enjoy nature, among other things. Visiting the famous wineries is also a delightful activity.

There is also a climbing forest, several lakes for swimming, some including an aquazone for the tougher stuff.

And of course the Lot river, which can be explored by canoe or via a beautiful hunters' path including a lock.

Yes, there is an internet connection in the house via WiFi. The fibre-optic connection ensures a good connection. But... it is still the French countryside and very occasionally there may be a somewhat poorer connection in bad weather, for example. Fortunately, the games cupboard is full of fun games and there are also plenty of books to get through those moments.

The smart TV is equipped with both AirPlay and Chromecast so everything can be streamed and you can watch a film or series from the comfort of your sofa.

Yes! Sérignac has a nice Epicerie (grocery) with a limited supply and where you can order bread for the next day. You can also have a nice meal here. And that's only 5 minutes away by car. For weekly shopping there is a very large supermarche (E.Leclerc) 15 minutes' drive away in Montayral.

For real shopping, Cahros is 25 minutes' drive away, Montauban over an hour and Toulouse with its beautiful canals and cosy centre about an hour and a half.

Unfortunately, this is not yet possible. We are exploring the possibilities. However, there are plenty of options within 15 minutes of La Foussimagne. For example, at the large supermarche in Montayral.

Outside high season, direct booking is possible. From EUR 750,- to EUR 1000,- per week depending on the number of persons and arrival date.
