We are Elwin, Brenda & Isis

Together with our daughter, we embarked on this adventure after many wonderful holidays in France. In recent years, we kept returning to the Lot region. For several reasons, but mainly because of the beautiful surroundings, the genuine tranquility and the lovely people.

We were looking for a place to escape the busy life we lead in the Netherlands. A place where you can feel at home. We found that place at La Foussimagne.

It has been an adventure, exciting, with many learning moments, and every day we learn more about life in France, the people, the culture and the fun things you can experience there.

We hope that with La Foussimagne we have created a place where you feel at home, just like we do. Where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and have a base from which to explore the area, by car, bicycle, on foot and even by water.

We speak Dutch, English, reasonable French and German – so communication is always easy.
